People do stupid things. That’s not a surprise. But sometimes their stupidity hurts innocent folks, such is the case with this Burger King employee who decided to take a bath in BK’s kitchen sink, and film the stunt for the whole world to see. The result of that strange behavior was the entire staff getting fired, including the manager who had 20 years on the job, and no involvement or beforehand knowledge of his plans.
The bather, Timothy Tackett (nicknamed “Mr. Unstable”) has already been featured on his town’s local news, popular nationwide TV show Inside Edition, and this morning is scheduled to appear on NBC’s Today Show. He has become an overnight celebrity, promoting his ‘music’ career, while apologizing for the stunt. Meanwhile, the former manager of the Burger King store is sitting home unemployed. That’s just wrong.

Lots of people have made goofy videos about fast food, but few of them actually make me laugh. This one does. Truly a classic, in my opinion. Have a look for yourself.
Mars Corporation, makers of Snickers, has pulled it’s latest advertising campaign for the peanut filled candy bar after complaints that it was homophobic. But thanks to the Internet and YouTube, you can still view the commercial and decide for yourself.
Now that you’ve watched the video, head over to UTalkMarketing for the details on why the advertisement has been cancelled, and what the company is saying about it.
I think the basic idea of Mr.T firing Snickers bars at people from a Snickers machine gun is pretty funny, but is this version of that concept Anti-Gay? I suppose the remarks “Disgrace to the man race” and “Time to run like a real man” were too much for people to handle. The slogan “Get some nuts” probably didn’t help. What do you think?
Funny stuff. One of the more interesting fast food commercials I’ve seen. There is some debate what country it came from, but appears to be Burger King of Korea. Make sure to crank up the volume, because the “Eat Like Snake” song is half the fun.
Here’s a couple fun videos taking us inside the Krystal Test Kitchen, where few have gone before. Hosted by Don Welch, of News Channel 9 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He’s funny and very personable. In Episode-1 we learn about Krystal’s Black Angus ground chuck patties, and a new version of their Scrambler breakfast bowl.
In Episode-2 there’s footage of how the popular Krystal Freeze icy treats are created, and a sneak peek of a new flavor in the MilkQuake real ice-cream line.
MMmmm… those little BBQ bacon cheddar melts look GOOD. If you want to learn more about Krystal or find a restaurant location go to Krystal.com, and don’t forget to visit the friendly folks at Krystalist.com for everything else fans could desire.
Pizza from a vending machine. WONDER Pizza promises — “Real, hot crispy pizza in three different choices, served on a practical tray, in short time, less than 2 minutes. The first machine’s part is a refrigeration unit, which holds the temperature of the pizza between 0 and +4C. The right part houses an electrical oven that cooks it with High Intensity Toasted Oven atmosphere (NO MICROWAVE). Each vending machine holds up to 102 pizzas in 3 different flavours (34 each).” – end quote.
Here’s the video. Pretty interesting stuff.
I remember hearing about this being developed a few years ago. There was several million dollars involved in the project, but I never heard anything after that. I certainly haven’t seen any around. Source:WonderPizza.org / WonderPizzaUSA.com
I have nothing to say about this story. The video from TheOnion.com speaks for itself. Besides, it’s difficult to type when I’m laughing this hard. Watch and see what I mean.
Carl’s Jr. is introducing a new Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich, and has produced several videos with the Sacramento Kings Cheerleaders doing a Chicken Dance to promote it. Here’s your chance to learn the chicken dance in this tutorial. And for making you watch it (lol) here’s a coupon for a Free Medium Coke with the purchase of the new sandwich. Valid until 6/30 at your favorite Carl’s Jr. location. Enjoy.
P.S. Here’s the cheerleaders performing the full routine, without the tutorial.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mom’s visiting the site today.
On this pleasant Sunday morning I would like to present everyone with a short video showing the light box I’ve built for my fast-food photography. It’s simple but effective.
The only thing better than pizza cones, it’s a bunch of happy people dancing to an upbeat music soundtrack — with pizza cones. Make sure to watch the video until the end, so you see the actual broadcast commercial. I loved it. I watched it about a dozen times. There’s just something about the music and dancing that makes me smile and feel good, especially the bearded guy sitting at the table wearing the red turban and necktie, shaking his Conizzas like he was Charo. Good stuff.
What is a Pizza Cone? Simple, it’s basic pizza toppings like meat, cheese, veggies, spices and sauce, packed inside a pizza crust that’s shaped like a cone.
This fast food video comes to us from INDIA, and the Pizza Corner division of Global Franchise Architects (GFA). Conizza is their brand name line of pizza cones.
