Guide to Free Wi-Fi at Jack In The Box

news_jack_in_the_box_knowzy.gifDid you know Jack In The Box is outfitting their restaurants with Free Wi-Fi? They are doing it quietly as part of their remodeling plan, and so far it’s included stores in California and Arizona. Despite the lack of any official announcement from JITB, Jeff at Knowzy.com confirmed it was true back in February, and now he’s created a Complete Guide to Jack In The Box Free Wi-Fi.

He’s done a great job with this guide, covering everything from the basics to the more advanced stuff. Pros and cons, how to sign-on, how to recognize which Jack in the Box locations offer the service, who powers the new system, etc.

  1. Thanks for the review! You have an excellent web site.

It’s so refreshing to see actual photos of the food- especially when they’re unflattering in real life (like the “Loaded Steakhouse Burger” review the other day)!

Jack in the Box will only say that they’re testing their Wi-Fi. They’re not dishing any details about it. So I write what I know and pose open questions for what I don’t.

I’m building an unofficial list of Wi-Fi-enabled Jack in the Box locations. If you find one, please share your good fortune with others!

You don’t need your laptop to tell if the JITB you’re visiting has free Wi-Fi. Just look for a HD TV. You’ll see the phrase “Wi-Fi” followed by a five digit code in the bottom left corner if there’s free Wi-Fi.

BTW, in Texas, Schlotzsky’s has a ton of free Wi-Fi locations. I’ve never eaten at one myself, so I can’t vouch for the subs.
