McDonald’s Free Chicken Sandwiches
In case you haven’t heard, McDonald’s has introduced a new “Southern Style” chicken sandwich that is remarkably similar to the Chick-Fil-A sandwich. They also have a breakfast version, and they are offering customers a chance to try them both for free, with the purchase of any medium or large beverage. The event will take place on May 15th, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. customers will receive a Free Chicken Biscuit, and then from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. a Free Chicken Sandwich.
It’s no secret I love the Chick-Fil-A sandwich and named it Editor’s Choice, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the McDonald’s version compares. I will be standing in line with the rest of you on the 15th. The only thing better than food – FREE food.

I had the chicken on a biscuit breakfast sandwich last weekend. They McDonalds on 14th & 7th in Manhattan had them. It was dry and needed a sauce–either buttery/maple-y to be like fried chicken and waffles or thick and sausage-y like with buiscuits and gravy. Perhpas those a two separate things: 1) A McGriddler-inspired fried chicken cutlet between two mini waffles (a la Eggo) with a thick maple sauce. 2) A Buiscuit and sausage gravy sandwich. I’d gain like 300 pounds eating those babies!
I had one today.
Chicken was full of tough/fatty meat on the outsides, inside was dry and tasteless.
Skip it.

I am eating one now…It is a great comparison to Chick filet!!!!!!! The meat is tender and juicy!!!!!
I ate one today. It is a blatant rip off of chik fil a (not a bad thing) but it isn’t as good as the chik fil a version. The chicken is much smaller, the mcdonalds bread contains more air, and the chicken is not as juicy as CFA. The breading is similer but not as good as CFA and they don’t use as much butter as CFA. Overall, its just a crappy version of the original, but if its sunday, they are closed, and you need your chik fil a FIX, I recommend it. It was good, just not as good as chik fil a!
who decides what time dinner is over?? nowhere on the commercial does it state what time it ends except it said during lunch and dinner hours..ok so why be penalized if you work a later shift and arent off until after 7pm??
