New Sandwich from Dunkin Donuts

Dunkin’ Donuts continues to expand their oven-toasted menu, with the addition of the new Southwest Chicken Flatbread Sandwich, which features grilled chicken, cheddar cheese, red and green peppers, onions, and a maple-chipotle sauce, pressed inside a warm toasty flatbread shell. DD’s oven-toasted menu launched earlier this year as the most significant change to their product lineup since the company launched espresso-based beverages back in 2003.
In order to introduce the new menu, Dunkin’ Donuts shops received an entirely new cooking platform. New cooking ovens, using patented technologies, deliver the “Oven-Toasted” result. In addition to the new Southwest Chicken, three other classic flavors are available: Turkey, Cheddar and Bacon - Ham and Swiss - Grilled Cheese.

I’m glad they’ve introduced the southwest sandwich. the Ham and swiss didn’t seem to have enough to it for me.
Is a review on its way for this one?
Odd, that looks like a press release. Now we’re going to need to see a review of the sandwich with an actual photo next to the perfect corporate version
Hey guys. I’m going to try it ASAP. Hopefully in the next couple days!
John - So you’ve had the Ham and Swiss version. It sounds like it wasn’t very filling, huh?
Rat - Yeah the photo does come directly from my contact at DD, as does the info, but we’ll see how it looks in real life, soon enough.
I must admit, I don’t normally think of Dunkin Donuts for regular food, things besides donuts and coffee, but they put a lot of time and effort into creating the new menu items, so I’m going into this with an open mind. You know they also serve little pizzas now, and hash browns too.
Yeah, the hash browns I think are great… if they’re actually warm.
The problem I had with the ham and swiss was the fact that I was driving while eating. It was something that was just a lot more messy then I had expected. The cheese got all over the place and it was quite greasy.
For me, it just wasn’t as filling as a sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant. It needed something more. If I hadn’t had the hash browns, I would have had to stop somewhere else to get more food.
That’s why I’m looking forward to this chicken one. It seems like have more to it.
I still have yet to venture into the Dunkin Donuts world of pizzas.
