Imagine - walking inside McDonald’s, seeing a musician’s stage with a guy playing keyboard and singing, a disco ball reflecting lights off the interior, and senior citizens dancing to Rock N’ Roll songs from decades past. That’s exactly what happens every Wednesday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. at the McDonald’s located at 2400 W. Lincoln Highway in Olympia Fields, Illinois. What’s it all about? Just good, clean, FUN.
Owner Randy Conn’s idea has been a success, not only in keeping his customers active, but increasing the store’s profit. Annual income has nearly doubled since he decided to offer live nightly entertainment, from $1.7 million to $3.3 million.
